The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is holding a 30-day public comment period on the Remedy Selection Plan for the Training Areas site located on Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC). The comment period will run from April 11, 2018 - May 10, 2018. The Remedy Selection Plan fact sheet outlines the proposed remedies to address contamination at the Training Areas sites. The plan includes a description of the Training Areas, description of investigations and findings and the proposed remedy for each area. A presentation on the remedy selection will be made during the JBCC Cleanup Team meeting to be held on April 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Building 1805 on the JBCC. EPA, MassDEP and IAGWSP representatives will be available at the meeting to respond to questions regarding the Training Areas.
